Northern Metalic Sales in Dawson Creek is seeking personable Inside Sales Representatives. Desired candidates are passionate professionals with experience in industrial sales and customer service who are able to perform well in fast paced environments. Sales Representatives will greet and assist customers by qualifying their needs and pin pointing products best suited for their job applications.
Duties
- Greet customers and qualify products they required
- Demonstrate products
- Answer phone inquiries
- Input sales orders and quotations
- Accurately handle cash and account payment processing
- Collect & document specified information required for billing
- Actively engage in product knowledge training
- Review, maintain and follow up on orders
- Provide clear communication regarding company policies
- Assist in providing internal information on required inventory maintenance
- Occasional cycle counting
- Help set up and clean displays as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Adhere to Safety regulations
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous sales experience an asset
- Knowledge of industrial products and tools preferred
- General computer skills
- Possesses professional and personable demeanor
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Self motivated and take pride in duties performed
- Sales driven with a passion to learn
- Demonstrates innovation and well-developed problem solving skills
- Operate well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dawson Creek, BC V1G 4B2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
